The above image is by far more "beautiful" than the original, and includes some of the elements the original was meant to emphasize graphically. In particular, the "multi-dimensionality" and circularity of "Self" that I was unable to capture in the rough, pencil and ruler sketch of the original. The emergence of complexity from primal simplicity; and the geometric acceleration of that process, is not as pronounced, perhaps, as in the original. Yet this image is a wonderful and welcome complement to the original Mandala of Anubis.
